Marc Comrie, PT, DPT, OCS
is the director at the Burbank Vargo PT clinic. He is a licensed physical therapist, an ASTYM certified clinician as well as a doctor of physical therapy. He is an orthopedist and a sports physical therapist.
A California native, Dr. Comrie’s interest in sports therapy stemmed from his longtime passion for sport itself. After an ankle injury ended his collegiate soccer career at the University of California, Irvine, he turned his focus to completing his bachelor’s of arts degree in social sciences with a minor in biological sciences. An internship at the Tustin Rehabilitation Hospital solidified his interest in the medical field, which led him to enter into and complete his doctorate in physical therapy at Mount St. Mary’s College and to become a great sports physical therapist.
Dr. Comrie’s clinical experience includes work at a number of outpatient physical therapy clinics as well as at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles, Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills and Arcadia Methodist Hospital. He played a major role in the development of a project entitled Assessment of Community Resources and Needs for Pro Bono Physical Therapy, a research project which inspected the need for physical therapy evaluation and treatment in the underserved community of downtown Los Angeles.
Currently serving as a Clinical Instructor at Cal State Northridge, Dr. Comrie has been a teaching assistant at Mount Saint Mary’s College of Physical Therapy as well as Clinical Instructor at Azusa Pacific University. He volunteers with the Los Angeles Christian Health Centers, which works to provide free-of-charge services to the underserved in the area.
Dr. Comrie is married to a physical therapist and loves to travel and sing.
Joyce Ambrosia, PT, MPT
is a licensed physical therapist at the Burbank Vargo PT clinic and has been trained to evaluate sports and industrial injuries as well as post-operative and age-related conditions. Ms. Ambrosia is skilled at both accessing patient rehabilitative needs, developing a plan of care and treatment goals as well as overseeing execution of those plans.
Ms. Ambrosia was born and raised in Southern California, and speaks fluent Cantonese and Toisanese, also a Chinese dialect. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and her master’s degree in physical therapy from California State University, Northridge. Ms. Ambrosia is an ASTYM certified clinician and has completed continuing education in the examination and treatment of spinal disorders from the acute to the chronic phases with a focus on combining manual therapy, movement science and pain sciences.
Ms. Ambrosia serves as a clinical instructor at California State University, Northridge. She is member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), and is CPR, AED and First Aide certified.
Ms. Ambrosia is married and lives in Studio City. She and her husband enjoy taking road trips in their free time.

Erin Ingram, PT, DPT
is a licensed physical therapist at the Burbank Vargo PT clinic. In her professional practice, she focuses on a research-based approach coupled with empirical evidence. She is pleased to be working with an orthopedic population where she is able to utilize a variety of soft tissue mobilization techniques. She has worked primarily in outpatient clinics from New York to Florida and now California, but also has experience in skilled nursing facilities and sub-acute care.
Ms Ingram was born and raised in Minnesota, after graduating high school she ditched the cold for warmer climates in Florida where she graduated from the University of Tampa with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Sports Studies. She went on to attain her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from St. Catherine University in Minneapolis.
Professional certifications include certified Kinesio Tape Practitioner and CPR certified. Notable continuing education courses include McKenzie MDT of lumbar spine and vestibular rehabilitation. She enjoys getting patients back to an active lifestyle and has volunteered her professional skills at numerous marathons across the country.
Ms. Ingram is married and lives in LA. In her spare time, she enjoys running, cooking, and crafts.

Eddie Fernandez, BS, PTA
is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant at the Vargo PT Burbank clinic who has been trained to work with various conditions ranging from sports injuries to neurological pathologies applying manual and therapeutic exercise techniques for means of healing and restoration. Having been exposed to multiple populations working under Physical Therapists of various skill sets, Eddie's capabilities to treat patients towards their goals is nothing short of attainable.
Mr. Fernandez is a graduate of California State University Northridge under the college of Health and Human Development with the Bachelor's of Science degree specializing in Exercise Science. While in college, Eddie managed to cohesively develop, along with his college peers, a student-driven exercise program in undeserved communities called 100 Citizens which was recognized at the White House with Michelle Obama's "Let's Move" campaign having won popular choice in a nationwide video challenge for faith based and community service organizations.
Mr. Fernandez is currently working towards his Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy. Outside of his career, Eddie enjoys various activities like running, cycling and snowboarding in the winter. He is also an avid Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner and health nut.
