Vargo Physical Therapy has an opening for a full-time Front Office Coordinator at our Sherman Oaks office. The position is for 40 hours per week and is a new position due to our growth. This person will team with another Front Office Coordinator at this office. The ideal candidate is an energetic, outgoing and detail-oriented individual to perform the following duties in a friendly and efficient manner. The candidate can expect to multi-task continuously and possess excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities and Duties 

  • Schedules patient appointments
  • Collects Co-Payments
  • Verifies patient insurance
  • Obtains authorization from insurance provider
  • Provides excellent Customer Service
  • Greets patients in a friendly and effective manner
  • Answers multi-line telephone system
  • Maintains accurate files of patient records using EMR system
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills 

Candidates MUST have a minimum of 2 years medical front office experience preferably in a physical therapy environment and fully understand insurance verification and medical terminology. Raintree EMR experience highly preferred. AA or bachelor’s degree strongly recommended. Spanish speaking is a plus.
