Originally opened in November 2002, the Valencia Vargo PT clinic has grown into a trusted resource for the community, recently relocating to a larger, more accessible space in Granary Square. The facility provides rehabilitation-grade equipment and state-of-the-art modalities for a wide range of conditions from reconstructive surgery recovery to arthritic conditions. Our clinicians take great pride in developing individualized, active rehabilitation programs with a strong emphasis on education for self-management and injury prevention. We are grateful to serve the Valencia community and have built lasting relationships with local doctors, athletic teams, high schools, and colleges.
The clinic is conveniently located in the Granary Square shopping center near Interstate 5 and Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital.

Kenneth KauffmanClinic Director (PT, MPT)Mr. Kauffman is the Clinic Director at the Valencia Vargo PT location. He is a licensed physical therapist and has been with Vargo PT since 2007. In addition to helping to manage the Valencia clinic he works daily to evaluate and treat patients, having cared for hundreds of orthopedic injuries.
Mr. Kauffman received his Bachelor’s Degree with Magna Cum Laude status in Kinesiology with an Emphasis in Exercise Science from California State University, Northridge. Later he received his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the same university. Mr. Kauffman is an ASTYM Certified Clinician and is also CPR certified.
Mr. Kauffman is married with two children. In his free time he enjoys playing with his kids, hiking, working out and gardening. One of his personal achievements is climbing Mount Whitney.

Clint J. SantosAssistant Director (PT)Clint earned his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from UERMMMCI, Philippines before moving to California.
During his free time, Clint enjoys spending quality time with his family, exercising, and reading.

Samantha WhitesidePhysical Therapist (PT, DPT)Samantha graduated from Azusa Pacific University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She received her undergraduate degree from Cal State University Northridge in Kinesiology.
Samantha loves training with and showing Arabian horses, the outdoors, and spending time with her fiancé and their two dogs.

Kelsey JohnsonPhysical Therapist Assistant (PTA)Kelsey has her B.S. in Kinesiology from Cal State University Northridge and has been trained to work with diverse age groups and patients with varying medical conditions.
She enjoys numerous outdoor activities such as paddle boarding, wakeboarding, running, and hiking.

Maurice JuwonoPhysical Therapist Assistant (PTA)Maurice is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and honors graduate of Casa Loma College.
During his free time, Mr. Juwono enjoys riding motorcycles, watching movies, snowboarding and traveling.
