Debbie Wolpert, PT

Debbie Wolpert is a licensed Physical Therapist in the Burbank Vargo PT clinic and has been with us for 18 years. With more than 30 years of experience in health care and Sports Medicine she has treated virtually every type of patient - ranging from professional athletes and LA sports teams to those recovering from complex orthopedic and neurologic injuries.

Debbie holds two bachelor’s degrees, the first in exercise science/kinesiology and the second in
health science/physical therapy. Both degrees were earned at California State University,
Northridge. Prior to joining Vargo PT, she was a physical therapist at Henry Mayo Newhall
Memorial Hospital where she earned Patient Care Employee-of-the-Year in 1999.

Before that Debbie traveled for two years as a contract physical therapist practicing in seven states across the U.S. Her other clinical experience includes work at Northridge Hospital Medical Center, Rancho Los Amigos, and Centinela Hospital’s Fitness Institute.

For the past 10 years Debbie has been conducting lectures, seminars, and retreats focused on total wellness, personal development, and high performance. She was a speaker at the Boston Scientific Women’s Conference in March of 2021. Serving her community she served on the Newhall School District Oversight Committee, Placerita Junior High Foundation Board, and the Hart High School District parent Communication Council. Debbie is also a founding member of the Santa Clarita Master Chorale and continues to sing regularly as a worship leader at Valencia United Methodist Church.

Debbie has two college aged daughters. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, traveling, running, playing recreational sports, hiking, and singing. When not working or spending time with her family she is writing books and developing courses centered on personal development and functional fitness.
