Emily Camero, PT, DPT, ATC
Is a Utah native whose love of therapy began after she dislocated her knee her senior year of high school and spent 6 months in physical therapy. The relationship with her own therapist sparked an interest in the profession. She went to Brigham Young University (BYU) for undergrad and received her degree in Athletic Training. Through that degree she worked with a local high school, BYU baseball, BYU football and the BYU women’s tennis team. She is a certified Athletic Trainer. She made her trek to California in 2014 to go Physical Therapy school at USC. Along with the high demands of school she also worked with the recreational sports teams (i.e. rugby, lacrosse, and soccer) as an Athletic Trainer. She got a lot of hands on experience working in a variety of clinical settings.
After graduating from USC in 2017 she earned her Physical Therapy license. She worked in the home health setting for 4 months before beginning at Vargo PT in the orthopedic setting she enjoys best.
Outside of work Emily enjoys recreational running and spending time with her husband.
