Kathryn Buzzelli, PT, DPT
is a licensed Physical Therapist at the Reseda Vargo PT clinic and holds a doctorate in physical therapy. Dr. Buzzelli has experience working with patients recovering from strokes, as well as sports injuries.
Even as a high school athlete Dr. Buzzelli knew she wanted to be a therapist to help return people back to sport, work or to a prior level of function. She received her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and exercise science from California State University, Northridge. She then completed her doctorate in physical therapy at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, San Diego. She an ASTYM certified clinician and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the California Physical Therapy Association (CPTA). Dr. Buzzelli is CPR/BLS certified and holds a bloodborne pathogens certification.
Prior to coming to Vargo PT, Dr. Buzzelli spent four years working as a Physical Therapy Aide in an outpatient physical therapy setting. She also garnered experience at a number of outpatient physical therapy clinics in Southern California as well as at the Los Robles Hospital.
A Southern California native, Dr. Buzzelli recently became a runner and has completed a number of 5K and 10K races and one half-marathon race. She generally prefers to spend her free time outdoors at the beach and in the mountains. When not out and about she can be found spoiling her two dogs at home.
