Taylor Hawes, PT, DPT
Taylor Hawes is a licensed Physical Therapist at the Moorpark Vargo PT location and holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
As an avid sports fan and participant, Dr. Hawes has experience with a wide variety of sports and athletes including softball, golf, baseball, basketball, and hockey. She played college softball while receiving her Bachelor’s Degree from Chapman University and went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from California State University, Northridge.
Throughout her training, Dr. Hawes gained experience working in outpatient orthopedics, the ICU and the CCU with patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. She has experience treating a wide range of diagnoses including overuse injuries, sports injuries, post-stroke, TBI, cerebral palsy, and more. Her primary goal is to optimize function and improve quality of life.
She is BLS/CPR certified and a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and California Physical Therapy Association (CPTA).
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family which includes her 9 nieces and nephews. She also spends her time playing slow pitch softball, hiking, wakeboarding and snowboarding.
