Attieh Rabei, PTA

Attieh Rabei transitioned to a career in physical therapy after over a decade of experience in various industries. Her passion for helping others ultimately lead her to become a PTA in October 2019. She delivers direct and compassionate care to help restore overall function and prevent permanent injury. She takes pride in collaborating with her colleagues to create an effective and pleasant rehab experience for patients.

Attieh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/Public Relations from Cal State University, Northridge and an Associate of Science in Physical Therapy Assistant from Concorde Career College.

Born and raised in SoCal, she enjoys yoga, cooking, attending concerts, and traveling.

Adrianna Nunes is a licensed physical therapist at Valencia Vargo and holds a doctorate in physical therapy. Dr. Nunes has experience with treating various impairments and is focused on providing optimal patient centered care.

Dr. Nunes received her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science at California State University, Northridge. Along with focusing on her academics at CSUN, she received an athletic scholarship to play Division I Collegiate Soccer for the Women's Soccer Team. During her time as a soccer player, Dr. Nunes sustained many major injuries where she spent a vast amount of time in physical therapy where she gained a great interest in pursuing physical therapy as a career. Dr. Nunes earned her doctorate in physical therapy from West Coast University. In her clinical internships, she worked at various settings and gained experience treating patients using the McKenzie Method and the Movement System Impairments Syndromes.

Prior to her time at Valencia Vargo, Dr. Nunes worked at UCLA Rehabilitation Services focused on treating various post-operative, orthopedic and work-related injuries. Dr. Nunes is CPR, AED and First Aid certified.

Dr. Nunes is married and enjoys traveling, exercising, practicing yoga/Pilates and spending time with her family.

Alejandro “Alex” Aguilar, PT, DPT is a licensed physical therapist at Vargo Sherman Oaks. He has experience working with patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. He has worked with patients recovering from various orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, and sport-specific injuries. He enjoys working with patients to reach their optimal function and educate them along the way.

Dr. Aguilar received his bachelor’s degree in Human Performance (Exercise Science), from the University of Southern California. He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona. Dr. Aguilar did clinical rotations in orthopedics, neurological outpatient, acute care emphasizing telemetry and ICU. He is certified in CPR/BLS.

Dr. Aguilar speaks fluently in Spanish. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, working out at the gym, and empowering young people at his local church.

Evan Sharpshair, PT, DPT

Evan Sharpshair is a licensed physical therapist at the Vargo Clinic in Burbank. Evan is a southern California native with a passion for orthopedic Physical Therapy and sports performance. He first became interested in physical therapy while receiving care for his own sports related injury in 2014. This experience introduced Evan to the PT profession and the value the rehabilitation team can provide. After graduating from California State University Northridge in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology-Exercise Science and a minor in Philosophy, Evan earned his doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2020. Evan enjoys working with patients across the life span and strives to improve his patients’ physical capabilities and experiences as they relate to movement and physical activity.

When he isn’t working, Evan tries to stay active by playing ice hockey and golf. He also enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
