is a Physical Therapist Assistant specializing in orthopedics and sports rehabilitation, who works at the Northridge location.

Mike joined the Vargo family back in 2008 as an aide, learning the skills and knowledge of the field and finding his fulfillment for the work through experience. After obtaining his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from California State University, Northridge in 2015, Mike moved on to complete his Physical Therapist Assistant license at Concorde Career College in 2018.

When helping patients, Mike believes in not only treating the injured area, but bettering the body as a whole. Through communication and open mindedness Mike aims to provide the best experience for each and every individual.

When not on the clock, Mike enjoys staying active, including everything from wakeboarding on the lake to snowboarding on the mountain. Mike also finds time to volunteer coach with a local high school baseball team.

is a recent transplant from Hawai’i. She has been a licensed massage therapist for over 12 years, with an integrative therapeutic approach focusing on deep tissue, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy. Jennifer’s background consists of the study of both Western and Eastern herbalism and holistic approaches to health and wellness. Her early introduction to yoga and her love for surfing led her to further studies of the body and movement therapy.

Jordan ektefaie bio photo vargo physical therapy

Jordan Ektefaie, PT, DPT

is a licensed physical therapist who holds a doctorate in physical therapy, and is also an ASTYM certified clinician. He was first introduced to physical therapy after soccer injuries in high school and knew right away this was the career he wanted to pursue.

Like many physical therapists, Dr. Ektefaie enjoys getting patients back to their prior level through exercise and other therapeutic techniques. He finds gratification in working with patients across the spectrum and enabling them to reach their goals.

Dr. Ektefaie was born and raised in Southern California. He received his bachelor’s degree in Allied Health from Azusa Pacific University, and his doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Mount Saint Mary’s University in Los Angeles. During his schooling, he completed an internship in Chicago where he spent 6 weeks learning under a Vestibular Rehabilitation Specialist.

When not in the clinic, Dr. Ektefaie enjoys spending time with his wife, cycling, and playing soccer.


nermin gradascevicNermin Gradascevic, PT, DPT

is the Assistant Director and a graduate of the Duke University Doctor of Physical Therapy program. A licensed physical therapist at the Porter Ranch Vargo PT clinic, Dr. Gradascevic has been trained to evaluate and treat acute and chronic impairments with patients of all ages and abilities. Dr Gradascevic is skilled at using clinical reasoning in combination with evidence-based PT interventions to address patient needs, develop and implement a plan of care to achieve successful outcomes.

Dr. Gradascevic was born and raised in France and speaks fluent French, also Serbian, Croatian and Bosnian. He is married and has two boys, and loves to organize his family time around sports activities and traveling.

Dr. Gradascevic is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), and is CPR certified.
