Adrianna Nunes, PT, DPT
Adrianna Nunes is a licensed physical therapist at Valencia Vargo and holds a doctorate in physical therapy. Dr. Nunes has experience with treating various impairments and is focused on providing optimal patient centered care.
Dr. Nunes received her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science at California State University, Northridge. Along with focusing on her academics at CSUN, she received an athletic scholarship to play Division I Collegiate Soccer for the Women's Soccer Team. During her time as a soccer player, Dr. Nunes sustained many major injuries where she spent a vast amount of time in physical therapy where she gained a great interest in pursuing physical therapy as a career. Dr. Nunes earned her doctorate in physical therapy from West Coast University. In her clinical internships, she worked at various settings and gained experience treating patients using the McKenzie Method and the Movement System Impairments Syndromes.
Prior to her time at Valencia Vargo, Dr. Nunes worked at UCLA Rehabilitation Services focused on treating various post-operative, orthopedic and work-related injuries. Dr. Nunes is CPR, AED and First Aid certified.
Dr. Nunes is married and enjoys traveling, exercising, practicing yoga/Pilates and spending time with her family.
Brett Syring, PTA
originally joined the Vargo PT team in 2011 as an aide before furthering his education at Concorde Career College, where he graduated with his Physical Therapist Assistant license in 2018.
Brett has a passion for helping others rehab from their injuries as he too was in and out of physical therapy as a young athlete. He believes in treating the person and not just the injury and enjoys getting to know his patients and learning their backgrounds so that he can provide them with quality care.
In his spare time, Brett enjoys traveling, wakeboarding, golfing and enjoying time with friends and family.

Emily Camero, PT, DPT, ATC
Is a Utah native whose love of therapy began after she dislocated her knee her senior year of high school and spent 6 months in physical therapy. The relationship with her own therapist sparked an interest in the profession. She went to Brigham Young University (BYU) for undergrad and received her degree in Athletic Training. Through that degree she worked with a local high school, BYU baseball, BYU football and the BYU women’s tennis team. She is a certified Athletic Trainer. She made her trek to California in 2014 to go Physical Therapy school at USC. Along with the high demands of school she also worked with the recreational sports teams (i.e. rugby, lacrosse, and soccer) as an Athletic Trainer. She got a lot of hands on experience working in a variety of clinical settings.
After graduating from USC in 2017 she earned her Physical Therapy license. She worked in the home health setting for 4 months before beginning at Vargo PT in the orthopedic setting she enjoys best.
Outside of work Emily enjoys recreational running and spending time with her husband.

Andrew Garner, PTA
is Physical Therapist Assistant at Vargo PT’s Burbank location specializing in orthopedics. His passion for physical therapy stems from his love for sports and helping others. Having an older sister and father in the medical field, Andrew was influenced early on to follow a similar path. After obtaining his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from California State University, Northridge in 2014, Andrew worked for Vargo PT as a physical therapy aide for 2 years. He then went on to complete his Physical Therapist Assistant degree at Concorde Career College in 2018.
Andrew enjoys connecting with patients and being a part of their recovery back to living a pain free life.
On the weekends Andy enjoys staying active by running & hiking. He also appreciates spending time with friends and family.
