Brett Syring, PTA
originally joined the Vargo PT team in 2011 as an aide before furthering his education at Concorde Career College, where he graduated with his Physical Therapist Assistant license in 2018.
Brett has a passion for helping others rehab from their injuries as he too was in and out of physical therapy as a young athlete. He believes in treating the person and not just the injury and enjoys getting to know his patients and learning their backgrounds so that he can provide them with quality care.
In his spare time, Brett enjoys traveling, wakeboarding, golfing and enjoying time with friends and family.

Amanda Corona, PT, DPT
is a licensed physical therapist. Originally a San Fernando Valley native, life as a Valley Girl was surrendered to New York’s Stony Brook University, where Dr. Corona earned her Bachelors of Science degree as well as her Doctorate of Physical Therapy while also successfully navigating Division-1 student-athlete life on Stony Brook’s collegiate basketball team. Dr. Corona believes in a comprehensive approach to treatment: integrating evidence based practices, clinical experience, and practical knowledge to guide her decision making in individualized treatment plans for her patients.
Dr. Corona’s love of sports and athletic capacity stems from a lengthy Basketball career and focused her clinical experience toward similar specialties such as orthopedic pediatrics, dance rehabilitation, concussion management, and sports performance. In addition to her expertise in outpatient orthopedics, Dr. Corona also has experience with inpatient acute care. During her clinical training at Saint Joseph’s Medical Center, Dr. Corona worked with ICU patients and applied early mobilization techniques to help reduce the likelihood of physical and neuropsychological impairments.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Corona leads an active lifestyle where she frequents the Sierras to backpack and ski with her husband as well as more traditional forms of training such as weightlifting and Crossfit.
Andrew Garner, PTA
is Physical Therapist Assistant at Vargo PT’s Burbank location specializing in orthopedics. His passion for physical therapy stems from his love for sports and helping others. Having an older sister and father in the medical field, Andrew was influenced early on to follow a similar path. After obtaining his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from California State University, Northridge in 2014, Andrew worked for Vargo PT as a physical therapy aide for 2 years. He then went on to complete his Physical Therapist Assistant degree at Concorde Career College in 2018.
Andrew enjoys connecting with patients and being a part of their recovery back to living a pain free life.
On the weekends Andy enjoys staying active by running & hiking. He also appreciates spending time with friends and family.
Courtney Hearn, PTA
Is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant at the Vargo Physical Therapy, Reseda clinic.
Health and Fitness has played a huge role in Courtney’s life, graduating from Western Connecticut State University, earning a bachelors in Health Promotion Studies with a concentration in Wellness Management. Courtney has worked as a Health Fitness Specialist before pursuing her career in Physical Therapy. Courtney has interned at a variety of outpatients clinics and gained experience working with all types of age groups and diagnoses.
Courtney enjoys working one-on-one with patients and helping each patient achieve their individualized goals as they progress through their rehabilitation program. Courtney believes in treating the patient as a whole to help them achieve their prior level of function.
When not at work, Courtney enjoys a variety of outdoor activities that include running marathons, snowboarding, going to the gym, and hiking.
