Marilen Lingad, PT, DPT
Marilen Lingad is a Physical Therapist at the Vargo PT clinic in Palmdale. Part of her duties is helping patients with functional limitations improve their mobility, strength and stability. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the Philippines in 1996 and pursued her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Dominican College of Blauvelt in New York and graduated in 2012.
Marilen has extensive experience in an outpatient PT setting in New York which includes 12 years, handled orthopedic cases, and supervised other physical therapists, physical therapy assistants and aides.
Marilen loves to stay home caring for her family. She also loves to cook and bakes on her free time.
Arpi Arutyunyan, PT, DPT
Arpi Arutyunyan, PT, DPT is a licensed physical therapist at Porter Ranch Vargo. Dr. Arutyunyan has experience working with patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. She is experienced in working with patients recovering from surgery, stroke, and sport injuries. She enjoys working with patients to restore function and achieving patient’s goals.
Dr. Arutyunyan received her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science from Cal State University, Northridge. She worked as an rehabilitation aide prior to attending graduate school. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona. During her numerous internships she gained experience in different settings such as outpatient, inpatient trauma, and orthopedic joint replacement program. She is certified in CPR/BLS.
Dr. Arutyunyan speaks fluently in Armenian. She enjoys playing tennis, running, hiking, and cooking.
Mike DiMeo, PT, DPT
Mike is a 2010 graduate of SUNY Oneonta in Oneonta NY, with a B.S. in biology, and a 2014 graduate of SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse NY, with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Prior to becoming part of the Vargo PT team, Mike worked in an outpatient orthopaedic clinic for two years before becoming a traveling PT for the following three, where he came on full time as a Vargo PT clinician.
Sports and orthopaedic physical therapy are Mike's primary interests within physical therapy, and will soon be working toward his CSCS designation.
In his free time, Mike enjoys hiking, grappling sports, training at the gym, road trips, and spending time with family and friends.
Attieh Rabei, PTA
Attieh Rabei transitioned to a career in physical therapy after over a decade of experience in various industries. Her passion for helping others ultimately lead her to become a PTA in October 2019. She delivers direct and compassionate care to help restore overall function and prevent permanent injury. She takes pride in collaborating with her colleagues to create an effective and pleasant rehab experience for patients.
Attieh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/Public Relations from Cal State University, Northridge and an Associate of Science in Physical Therapy Assistant from Concorde Career College.
Born and raised in SoCal, she enjoys yoga, cooking, attending concerts, and traveling.
